Time Travel and Snail Mail Letters - Where Did I Get the Idea?

I have always been drawn to interesting, often obscure stories from history. At times I have found myself sharing these stories around a campfire (literally) or a social gathering.

I also love letters. As a youth, I loved writing to friends who had moved away. Recently I started corresponding with pen pals via snail mail, and I once again experienced the anticipation of waiting for a letter and the magical feeling of receiving a real letter in my mailbox.

I retired recently, and I decided to use my time to share my love of history and receiving letters with others. What better way to do this than through the mystery of time travel?  

Thus, "Letters From a Time Traveler" was born.

Each month, you can look forward to real snail mail letters from Tam, a fictional time traveler from the year 2150, who travels back in time to observe inspirational, interesting, or quirky events from history. 

Each letter contains a first person account of Tam’s observations, a trading card, plus two or three replicas of artifacts from the time period (newspaper articles, photos, letters, recipes, songs, book excerpts, and more).
